With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved brother and son, John Paul Corona. John was a remarkable man with a gentle, compassionate heart. He was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back and was always there when someone needed him. He spent his career in the tire industry and had recently taken the brave step of working independently for himself. A dedicated and hardworking man, John took great pride in everything he did. Those who knew him may be surprised to know how much he loved making candles and cooking, two quiet joys that reflected his creativity. But John’s true joy in life was sitting on the lake with a fishing pole in hand, enjoying the peace of the water. More than anything, John loved his family and friends, and they meant the world to him. John is now reunited in the arms of God, and his beloved grandmother and uncle. Even in his passing, John blessed strangers through the gift of organ donation, a final act of kindness that speaks to the heart of who he was.
He is survived by his parents, siblings, children, and his beloved partner Holli Chaberlain, his best friend Jim and his aunt Sonia.
Preceded in death by: Mary Corona (grandmother), Jim Corona (uncle), DJ Corona (cousin), and Eldon Gerrard (stepfather)
