have a memory or condolence to add?

Boyd and I met while attending "basic training" in Los Angeles with Western Airlines. When we hired on we both had the same hire date. We were told that GA would have seniority rights ahead of GU. Boyd would always remind me of that and he always felt like he was playing "second fiddle". I enjoyed playing softball for a number of years with him. My only regret was that I didn't find out about his passing until just recently. I will miss him and his wonderful personality.

Awesome Delta Airlines Red Coat from the first day I met him on April 28, 1997. I knew nothing about meeting planes and which models they where, but now I do, because of his kind, gentle teaching. I can't believe that time really flies and it has been 21 years and now I am retired from Delta.
Boyd was loved by everyone at Delta Airlines and he always had a beautiful smile on his face. He is greatly missed, but his warmth and knowledge will be passed down forever. He must be so happy to be with all his friends and family in Heaven. Just wait until we join him someday and there will be another great celebration. His family now has the responsibility to carry on his awesome good traits, by helping and loving everyone. He is your new guardian angel, so ask him to help you when you need it. He was a great example to the world. Thank you Boyd for all you did while you were here. You will never be forgotten for sure.

On behalf of the Delta Pioneers I would like to offer our most sincere sympathy to the family of Boyd.
I started working with Boyd in 1968 with Western Airlines.
He always had a pleasant personality. I do not ever remember seeing him angry.
He will be missed

Lynette & Family, Boyd has been a good friend for 35+ years and still counting. How grateful we are that friends, like families, are eternal. By his example, Boyd helped teach us faith, obedience, love, humility and courage. May you feel the Lord's peace and comfort as you prepare to be with Boyd again.

My dad, Bob Lee, worked with Boyd at Western and Delta Airlines. I remember when I was young, our families often socialized and visited with one another, which I have fond memories of . We even went river running/camping/fishing at Flaming Gorge. Unfortunately, our relationship did not continue because my dad (Bob) left our family and the church. I will always remember Boyd's fun and exuberant personality! May the Lord bring you your family peace at this time!

I worked with Boyd at Western and Delta Airlines. He always made me feel worthwhile and his friendliness was so contagious. I remember that he always got us fresh turkeys at Thanksgiving. I went to his house once to get mine and there was a mountain of turkeys on his lawn. He was an integral part of my employment with the airlines and good example.

Boyd and Lynnette welcomed me into their family with open arms and hearts from the very first pheasant hunt in Moroni and always made me feel a family member, not just an in law.
Boyd made every family get together, holiday and party so much fun. We treasure and will continue to pass on so many traditions like: Reading and singing from the Christmas book, Speical presents and the Christmas Pageant on Christmas Eve, toasting with the family Christmas drink, Easter egg hunts for the grandkids and a picnic at the park and rolling Easter eggs (yeah, that was new to me too!), the many family dinners and birthday celebrations and his skill at decorating and making sure whoever was being celebrated felt special and loved, I will truly miss him every time we gather as a family, but know he will be with us in spirit and WE WILL BE WITH HIM AGAIN. I will look for his guidance and protection of his grands and greats as they grow and continue to keep the traditions he started. Even in this last great fight, he has brought his family closer and it was an honor to watch the love between he and Lynnette and learn from their example. I have such tender feelings from being allowed to be a part of his precious family. In all the fun, he NEVER forgot the true meaning behind these holidays. He always made sure to pray as we gathered and he spoke to his Heavenly Father as if he were beside him. He was the lead in teaching and reminding all of us that "if you don't choose Christ, in the end it won't matter what you choose." He held this belief and was an example of it in all he did. Boyd, I can only imagine the family gatherings you are having today, THANK YOU! Love ya 95,
