John Claude Lawson, passed away November 11, 2013 in West Valley City, Utah.
John was born October 9, 1932 to James Wallace and Alice Ward Lawson. He married Elaine Perry on March 7, 1964. He graduated from Jordan High. He worked for the Liquor Commission for 28 years. John is survived by his loving wife, Elaine; children, Darren (LeeDon) and Brian (RaeLynn); grandchildren, John (Brigette), Amanda (Tyson), Justin (Bev) and Kyle; great grandchildren, Kaden, Kelton and Kirstin; sisters, Ruby Denos and Dixie Butterfield. He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 5 sisters. Special Thanks to Hazen Care Center, the nurses and staff there are wonderful and very caring. Also thanks to Hearts for Hospice.
Graveside Services will be held Monday, November 11, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 W. 4100 So. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior to the service at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W. 4100 So.
