Jordan Douglas Boynton

Jordan Douglas Boynton, beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend, passed away on November 15, 2024, age 37, surrounded by loved ones. A shining star in the dark of the sky, his light burned out before his time.

Jordan was born September 2, 1987 in Salt Lake City, UT to Douglas and Cheryl Boynton. He was the second of three children. Jordan was a natural born athlete and strong competitor. He loved playing baseball and boy did he know how to put on a show. After graduating from Cyprus High School, he went on to join the IBEW Local 354 where we worked hard to become a journeyman electrician.

Jordan was very creative, whether he was cooking up a new dish, or writing lyrics to a song, he loved to tell a story. Spending time with his family brought him the most joy; vacations to the Oregon coast, cheering for the Utes and the Jazz, watching movies, and quizzing everyone on random trivia. The adventures were endless.

Jordan is survived by his parents, sister Taryn (Chad), brother Cody, nephew Landon, niece McKenzie, numerous family and friends, and dog Jade. He is preceded in death by his grandmothers Patricia Walk and Barbara Boynton, grandfather Shurl Walk, and his dear dog Skyy.

No funeral or memorial service will be held at this time.
