Joseph Conrad Hesse

Joseph C. Hesse aged 67, passed away at on September 22, 2025 at home in Salt Lake City, UT. He was born January 3, 1958 to Clarence and Eva Hesse. He attended Kearns High School and obtained his GED after joining the Navy. Joe proudly served 20 years in the Navy. He was proud to represent and show his love for what he did.

He married Linda L. Hesse on September 19, 1981 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was Catholic. Joe loved to go fishing at Vernal Reservoir and Grantsville Reservoir. He also loved to watch movies with his family, barbeque, and shoot the breeze with friends and loved ones. He would always tell everyone, “not to mess with the old man,” while flipping the bird. Joe would speak fondly of his days in the military, and especially loved spending time with his four grandchildren; Nicholaus, Amberlyn, James, and Angel. They were the light and joy of his life, and he enjoyed every moment he could with them. They each held a special place in his heart.

Joe is survived by his wife, Linda; oldest daughter, Linda (David); youngest daughter, Josephine (Brandon); four grandchildren: Nicholaus, Amberlyn, James, and Angel; brothers: Tony, Charles, and Mike. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Eva; sister, Kathy, and Brother Pat.

Services will be held October 23rd & 24th at Valley View Memorial Park & Funeral Home. The family will receive friends October 23rd from 6:00pm - 8:00pm and October 24th from 10:00am -10:45am followed by a Graveside Service to be held at 11:00am at Valley View Memorial Park. The family wishes to thank Huntsman Cancer Institute, University of Utah, Highland Care Center, Symbii Hospice and Valley View Memorial for their help and care with Joseph. We would also like to thank his U-Haul Family for all the love and support the last 25 years.
