He was born on February 1, 1977 at Holy Cross Hospital to the parents of Gary Nicholas and Margee Knodel.
Joey always had a childlike demeanor that was evident to all. He had a heart of gold and would give anything of himself to a person in need and was never concerned of what he didn’t have. He lived for the moment, never worried of what the future would bring. His care and love for his family was unprecedented. He will be dearly missed by those who were close to him. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and liked Sturgis, he loved to travel. His favorite places were Montana, Arizona, Flaming Gorge and Fruitland, UT. He loved camping, riding ATV and he always dreamed of owning a Harley. His struggle in life was great; the disease of addiction tormented him for so long he is now finally liberated.
He is survived by his parents, Frank and Margee Knodel; siblings, Adam and Jacob Morrell, Krista and Monica Knodel; nephews and niece Shilo Easter, Cayden Holm, Ethan, Enoch, Noah, Adam Jr. and Evanjewlyn Morrell.
