Joslyn Rose Mead, 19, passed away on September 1, 2026, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on May 9, 2007, in Littleton, Colorado to Dan and Dana Mead. When Joslyn was 4 years old, she moved with her family to West Jordan, Utah and later graduated from Copper Hills High School in 2026. She was baptized in the Lutheran Church. While growing up in Utah she enjoyed many things Utah has to offer including snowboarding, camping, hiking, visiting the national parks and Sand Dunes. She enjoyed gymnastics when she was younger and softball as she got older. Joslyn participated in the French Immersion Program in school and by the time she graduated she was fluent and loved running into others that spoke French.
Joslyn is survived by her parents, Dan and Dana Mead; her older brother, Kaylor Mead, younger sister, Brooklyn Mead; grandparents, Phillip and Deborah Strand, Max and Glenda Mead, Rudy Marquez. She is preceded in death by her Nana, Lynn Marquez and uncle, Brandon Thomson.
Graveside service for Joslyn will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 11:00 am at the Huntsville Cemetery, 5600 E 100 S, Huntsville, Utah.
