by her loving family. Born November 7 th , 1940 she was raised in Uvalde, Texas until she moved
to Salt Lake City in 1962. Jane was in her high school band, and loved to play the clarinet. She
was also a member of the school softball team. Jane attended Business College in San Antonio,
and started her career in Salt Lake. Jane worked for the Steiner and Sinclair Companies for
many, many years where she handled the company’s payroll. She made many great friends
throughout the years before retiring.
As an adult, Jane was an avid bowler and participated in several leagues. Jane was a dedicated
reader, reading several novels weekly to keep her mind sharp. She was a passionate cook,
constantly trying the latest recipes that she viewed on food network and feeding them to
anyone she could peddle them to. Jane also was a sport fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Yankees and
most of the Texas college teams (Baylor, Texas, Texas A&M) and also the University of Utah.
But most of all, Jane loved being with her nieces and nephews. Jane was a loving aunt, helping
take care of her nieces and nephews and spoiling them every time she was with them.
Jane is survived by sisters, Soila, Concepcion, and Beatrice, and honorary brother Abelino, and
many nieces, nephews and cousins, but she loved and cared for them all. She is preceded in
death by parents, Lucas and Concepcion Zamora, Brothers, Lucas Jr., Asencio, Sisters, Victoria,
Catalina, Feliz, and Ophelia, and honorary brother Arturo.
A Memorial luncheon will be held in Jane’s honor at The LDS church 3650 W 4400 S, in West
Valley March 24, 2018 at 2 P.M. for those who would like to attend.
