July 13, 1980 – September 30, 2026
Justin Gary Ebner, 46, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away peacefully on Sept. 30, 2026, of Esophageal Cancer (HCC) at the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City. He was born on July 13, 1980, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Jody L. Nelson Ebner and Gary Alan Ebner.
Justin was a one-of-a-kind person with a huge heart and a personality that made it easy for him to make friends wherever life took him. He loved deeply, lived life on his own terms, and was always ready for his next adventure.
Justin had a special love for his motorcycle. Whether he was riding it or working on it, his motorcycle was a big part of his life. He was convinced it could outrun any Harley—and he was always happy to tell you so.
He loved living in California, especially being near the ocean. He enjoyed boats, jet skis, and spending time out on the water. He also adored his cats, including Suki, Alvin, Simone, Theodore, Jasper, and others who were lucky enough to be part of his life.
Above all, Justin loved his family. He had a particularly special bond with his mom, Jody. As her only child, he was proudly a “momma’s boy,” and the love between them was something that will always remain and to be joined again in the “next level”.
Justin is survived by his mother, Jody Ebner-Clark, stepfather, Michael Clark; his fiancée, Leena Eastwood; his son, Isiah Justin Ebner; grandson, Haiden; stepdaughter, Shaylynn Woodcox; and stepson, Noah Leix.
He is also survived by his step-siblings, Alisha Nicole Sorenson, Andrew Voelkel, Jeff Clark, Lester (Alexis) Clark, and Shannon Hamblin; aunts and uncles, Eileen (Tokomea) Mafua, Mike (Veronica) Nelson, Jeanie LaVon Robinson, Sarah (Derek) Gunn, Talyne Belka, Greg Ebner (Ken Bober), and John Ebner; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends who loved him.
Justin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond (Sharon) Ebner, Joan (Marleen) Ebner, Elaine (Omar) Allahkhan, and Jay (Carol) Nelson.
Justin leaves behind memories that will be cherished by all who knew him. His love of motorcycles, the ocean, animals, adventure, and—most importantly—his family will never be forgotten. He made friends wherever he went and had a way of leaving an impression on the people whose lives he touched.
