Keith Edward Benton

Passed away 1/28/18 in West Valley City

Keith was born March 17, 1949 to Monroe Marvin Benton and Rita Loraine Reese

He is survived by his wife Linda, daughters Wendy Gilbertson (John) and Jennifer Fischer (Steve) and “adopted daughter” Lisa O’Reilly, 6 grandchildren Tyler and Jordan Fischer, Audrey and Bryce Danielson, Kyle Mills and “adopted grandson” Jacob O’Reilly (Haylee), 2 sisters Judy Breeden and Joyce Skinner as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Betty Sayers

Keith was a loving husband, father, Papa, brother and son who always put his family first. He never met a stranger that didn’t become a friend. He drove long haul for Godfrey Trucking and Knight Transportation until he was forced to retire from due to an injury. This 25- year career took Keith to many beautiful places around the states that he otherwise would have never been able to enjoy.

Keith’s sense of humor, fun and corny personality will be deeply missed by so many. He had touched so many people’s lives in various and entertaining ways that can never be replaced.

Fly high with the angels, run and fish pain free because you only deserve the best. We know that you will constantly be with us and watching over us with everything that we do and for that we are blessed beyond measure. We won’t say good-bye because that is forever, we will just say until we meet again.
