

Kenneth Frederick Humphreys Jr was born on March 19th 1958 to Harry and Lorraine Baker Yost. (Birth father Kenneth Frederick Humphreys). He was born in Salt Lake City UT. Where Ken attended West High School after high school he joined the Army. When Ken left the Army he started his profession as a truck driver, where Ken mastered the skill of driving a truck to an astounding perfection. Ken was married to Nedra L Swasey in October 27, 1979 they were married for 15 years.
Ken was very family oriented, very passionate about Harley's where he enjoyed riding as much as he loved his kids. Kenneth loved his kids and grandkids and would do anything and everything for anyone of them no matter what. He was an over the road truck driver for many many years, he could drive anything that had wheels. Ken was a bail enforcement agent and a bail bondsman. He loved to cook and do BBQ. Ken wouldn't ever let anyone go hungry. If you were there and It was time to eat you ate as well. Thanksgiving was dad's favorite holiday and you knew it was going to be a feast!! Ken was an excellent shooter. He loved to fish and hunt. Ken also loved the Dallas cowboys and watching the games. He wanted to teach others his way of doing things and ways to make it better. Those who were able to get know Ken knew you had someone in your corner. if you weren’t doing right he’d be the first to tell you that you’re wrong.
He is survived by son: Jeremy (Rebecca) Swasey, daughter Kim (Ryan) Cummiskey, daughter Catrina (Joe) Bastien, daughter Tiffany (Robert Deardorff) Humphreys, son Trinity J Humphreys, son Charles Joseph (Krista Day) Humphreys. And so many others that called him DAD. His brother Dan (Jamie) Humphreys, Sharron Simmons and 13 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Charlie, Russell and John; his sisters Karon and Penny.
Ken’s family would like to thank all of those for their love and support during this time.
In honor of Ken's memory a viewing will be Friday, June 24 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Valley View Funeral Home, 4100 South 4335 West, West Valley City and again one hour prior to the services. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 25, 2:00 pm at Valley View Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow directly after at Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 S.) Sandy City, Utah
