Laila Marion Patey passed away 04/27/2023 in Richfield, Utah. She was born April 20, 1937, in Oslo, Norway to Ingolf Hans Mork and Aase Marie Hansen. Laila married John Widtsoe Patey on October 7, 1955, in the Salt Lake Temple. They were married for 61 years. John was the love of my life along with our children and grandchildren.
Laila was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved to spend time with family and doing family history work. She loved being a "Mom".
She is survived by her children: Diana Johnson, Kenneth, Steven (Nick Hales), Robert (Michelle) and Michael Patey.
She is preceded in death by husband John; her parents; infant son Danny and daughter Kathleen; grandson James Ervin Johnson.
