Larry Sidwell

December 20, 1963 -December 4, 2014

Larry passed away at the age of 50 due to complications from a previous surgery, in Riverton, Utah. He was born on December 20, 1963 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Larry was a beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend. Although he was only with us 50 short years he had loved a lifetime. To know Larry was to love him. All who knew him were touched by his kind, generous nature and awestruck by his beautiful blue eyes.

He loved to camp and fish. He loved to do these things with those he cared about most, his family and friends. He also enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors. Larry was born with an entrepreneurial spirit which led to his ownership and operation of Aspen Water with his brother Terry for many years.

Larry spent many years coaching his daughter in softball and basketball. Those remain some of the fondest memories for both Larry and his daughter.

Larry had a contagious smile and a charisma that infected those around him with a great sense of love and happiness. He cared about everyone he met and never missed a family event or an opportunity to spend time with his family. Larry's intelligence, wit and humor only added to the generous, caring person that he was.

Larry's greatest joy in life was being a father to his precious daughter.

He is survived by his daughter, Baylee Stephenson, parents Max and Lillian Sidwell, siblings Mark Sidwell, Debbie (Bruce) Day, Terry Sidwell and many nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his grandparents and niece, Kellie.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the LDS Church located at 3450 South 6400 West in West Valley City.

A viewing will be held from 6:00pm - 8:00pm Friday evening, December 12, at Valley View Memorial Park and Funeral Home located at 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah and on Saturday for one hour prior to services at the church. The burial will be in the Valley View Memorial Park.
