He served four years in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict.
He is survived by his wife Joan, to whom he was married for 56 years. He is also survived by his four daughters; Patricia (Peter), Carrie (Zach), Gwendolyn (Dave) and Nadine, two brothers; Timothy and Brian, as well as twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
A viewing for family and loved ones will be held Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 10:00 am, followed by a rosary at 11:00 am, and concluding with the burial at 12:00 pm. The services will be conducted at Valley View Memorial Park & Funeral Home, located at 4335 West 4100 South, Salt Lake City, UT.
It is requested in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in Lawrence’s name to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
