Lila Lynn Florence Wright

November 21, 1934June 17, 2019

Lila Lynn Florence Wright, age 84, passed away on June 17, 2019 in West Valley City.

She was born on November 21, 1934 in East Millcreek, Utah to Wilmer Henry Florence and Mabel May Florence. She attended Granite High School and later met and married Gearld Lewis Wright on July 16, 1953 in the Salt Lake City Temple.

The things that brought Lila joy were her family, gardening, singing, sewing, cooking, baking and canning, BYU football games, and Grizzly hockey games. She was always mindful of family milestones. She taught the Gospel of Christ, love of family, service, patriotism, honesty, integrity, and she always lead by example. Mom will be missed dearly. We rejoice in her reunion with the loved ones that have gone before her.

Lila was preceded in death by her husband, Gearld Wright and her son, Craig Wright. She is survived by her children; Jeri Lynn (Trent) Bliss, Alan (Kay) Wright, Lori (Paul) Kimmins, Daryl (Leah) Wright, and Merlin (Gina) Wright. She leaves behind 19 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
