Mom, Lonn Tepp was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 25th, at the age of 83. Mom Lonn was born on January 10, 1938, in Phum Pnov village, Svay Rieng district, Svay Rieng province. The daughter of Mao Tep and Pung Som. She was the youngest of 3 siblings. Mom Lonn was married to Thon Preak and together they had eight children. During the 1975 civil war of Cambodia known as the Khmer Rouge, Pol Pot regime, her husband and 3 out of the 8 children had passed away during this period. In 1980, Mom Lonn had left her homeland of Cambodia to find refuge in a Thai refugee camp known as the Khao I Dang camp and settled there for 3 years until 1983, when she took her first leap of faith leaving everything that she has known behind to start a new life here in America with her 5 remaining children and 3 grandchildren. Fast forward to today, Mom Lonn, is survived by those 5 children: Sister Sokhanny Parco, Brother Sath Prum, Sister Sophy Williams, Brother Daliya Prum, and brother Nhen Prum along with 17 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Serving our Lord Jesus Christ since 1990, Mom Lonn has traveled back to her homeland of Cambodia more then several dozen times since arriving in the states. Traveling back to plant churches and spreading the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ to her relatives and the villagers alike. She continued her mission work up until 2015, when her health started to decline. Although her worn out body was tired, she continued serving through prayers and financially supporting the churches and the Cambodian people, even up to the last weeks of her life. We will remember Mom as a strong woman of faith, leading and loving on so many people. Her imprint of who she was will never leave us. Until we meet again in heaven, we will miss you and we love you so.
