To the family of lorie, so sorry to hear of her passing away, knew her since 1982, she was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and most of all a great friend to all. Prayers are with you lorie, and to your loving family. I know you and gilberto were going to be godparents to my son stephen, back in 85. But now he is in heaven say hi to him. You will always shine, and u had beautiful smile. See u one day.

At this time words are hard to come by. Know that each of you are in our prayers and thoughts. Lorie had a way about her from when I first met her when she was 14 years old, she has always loved life and evryone around her. Her family was always most on her mind and when she talked about the family and her loving husband her eyes twinkled. I can only think the gathering she is having in heaven with her family and friends that went before her.
Lorie, you will forever be remembered as the one that loved everyone without reservation. ~ Until we meet again. Brook M

Lorie and I worked together for most of our adult lives…We started at Operation Conquest and when I took a job with UCP, I knew Lorie had to come with me.
Lorie could work circles around anyone and she had such compassion for people with disabilities it will never be matched. She wanted our clients to look nice to have as normal a life as physically possible. Throughout the years we took the individuals on several vacation showing the Black Hills in South Dakota to Disneyland and all the other lands in California. Lorie also took some of the folks on a cruise. These trip are such work especially with the people we cared for but Lorie always went the extra mile to make sure they had the experience and wonder that all of us enjoy. Lorie was much more to me then a co worker….when you work the hours we did sometimes seven days a week you become family. My daughter babysit for her little ones…Lorie came and helped my daughter when she was bedridden with her second pregnancy…we raise kids, buried or family members holding each other up when we need…. I can't imagine what life will be like without her.
