Lucy Caroline Petersen Feb. 4, 1978 - June 3, 2019

Lucy Caroline Petersen was born in Grand Haven Michigan. She passed away unexpectedly on June 3, 2019 at the age of 41. Lucy had a bright spirit and compassionate heart. She was loving and giving and kindhearted. She shared a brightness of hope to everyone around her. Her smile could light up a room. We will miss her cheerful happy countenance.

She graduated from Utah Valley University in April of 2000 and was employed by the Bureau of Criminal Identification. She was a part of the Utah Department of Public Safety since Oct 22, 2012. Lucy was born to Max Dean Petersen and was preceded in death by her mother Lucy Marie Phillips Petersen. She is survived by her husband Thomas Aaron Dennison. They were married on Oct. 30, 2008. Surviving are her brothers Kim, Chris, Greg, and Eric Petersen and her sisters Karen Gladstone, Vicky Allen, Rena Child, Linette Hall, and Kyleen Gonzales.

Services for Lucy will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, where a viewing will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8pm and again on Wednesday morning from 10-11 am prior to the service. Interment: Valley View memorial Park.
