Lyle Russell McReavy, 89, joined his lil’ sweetheart in heaven July 24, 2019 in West Valley City, Utah after four long years apart. Lyle was born on August 6, 1929 the youngest of three children born to Joseph and Jennie McReavy. He married his lil’ sweetheart on July 9, 1949. Lyle was a friend to everyone. He always had a story or tall tale to share. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family. He especially enjoyed his deep sea fishing trip with Russell. He was a great father and coach. He loved coaching Russell’s little league teams and later in life, teaching all of his grandkids and great grandkids the art of pool and bowling.
He is survived by, son, Russell (D’Ann) McReavy, grandchildren, Brandon (Michelle) McReavy, Nikole (Victor ll) Quinones, Christy Gayler, Amanda Tuero, Rachel (Josh) Gray; great grandchildren Ti’Anna Quinones, Victor Quinones lll, Andrew McReavy, Domoneque (Alex) Oropeza, Alle McReavy, Kaija Quinones, MyKayla Quinones, Natalya Quinones, Chloe Tuero, Alexis Kley, Wendy Tuero, Kallee McReavy, Zaiden Gray, Cajsa McReavy, Kian Tuero, Eliana Tuero, Hunter Holland, Wyatt Holland and great great grandchild, Noah Oropeza, Nehemiah Oropeza and Andrés Aleman-Quinones. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the LDS Church, 4270 Falcon St west Valley City at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing one hour prior to the service. A viewing will also be held Friday August 9, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Valley View Mortuary, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City.
