Margaret Noni S. Saunders Banchero

She was born July 30, 1923 in Santa Barbara, California to John Burnet Saunders & Mary Jane McLeish. In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by her ex husband, Angelo John Banchero (1999), sister Mary S Nicholas (1994) and her son Steven Lawrence Banchero (1992).

Noni worked in the aircraft industry during WW II. She met Angelo and they were married in 1947 and lived in San Francisco for many years and then she moved to West Valley City, Utah in 1976. She worked for Castleton's and then for the University of Utah. She volunteered much of her time for troubled teens for many years giving advice, guidance and comfort to them.

Surviving Margaret are her two daughters and sons-in-law, Catherine B Hilliard (William) of Lockeford, California, Victoria B Libby (Robert) of West Valley City, Utah, nine grand children and eight great grandchildren and one on the way.

As per her request, Margaret has been cremated and her ashes will be interred with her son in Holy Cross Cemetery, San Francisco. A family remembrance service will take place in the future. A special thank you to Care Source hospice for their compassion and St Vincent's Catholic Church.
