Margaret “Margie” Estrada peacefully went home with the Lord on June 14, 2026, at the age of 88.
Born in Mancos, Colorado, Margie lived a life centered on love, family, and caring for others. She found joy in sewing, gardening, and cooking, and she shared that joy generously with those around her. Her home was always a welcoming place, filled with warmth, laughter, and the comfort of family.
To know Margie was to know kindness. She had a gentle way of making people feel loved and cared for, whether through a home-cooked meal, a thoughtful conversation, or simply being there when someone needed her. She gave selflessly to those she loved and created countless memories that her family will cherish forever.
Above all, Margie cherished her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love, strength, and kindness touched generations. She is survived by her loving children, Kathleen Anderton, Mike Estrada, Pearl Estrada, and Jesse Estrada.
Margie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arturo Estrada, and her daughters, Rose Costello and Dorothy Martinez. The loss of Arturo nine months ago left an ache in her heart. After sharing a lifetime of love, memories, and devotion together, she missed him dearly and often spoke of him with affection. We find comfort in knowing they are together once again.
Though her passing leaves a tremendous void in our hearts, we are grateful for the memories, lessons, and love she leaves behind. Her legacy will live on through the family she cherished and the countless lives she touched.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 22, at Valley View Memorial (Dignity Memorial) in West Valley City. The Rosary will begin at 1:45 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Burial will take place at 3:00 p.m.
Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.
