Margaret "Peggy" N. Bowcut

“Peggy”

Margaret Nash Bowcut, born October 8, 1931 in Kanab, Utah, passed away April 12, 2012. She resided in Salt Lake City for over 50 years where she raised her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Devoe Bowcut; her daughter, Sharalee Bowcut and brothers, Demotte Nash and Kent Nash. She is survived by her brother, Norman (Jerry) Nash of Kanab, Utah, sister-in-law, Colleen Nash of Henderson, Nevada and children, Clyde Kay (Shauna) Bowcut, Craig (Marie) Bowcut, Patsy (Ray) Edgar, and Julie Bowcut (Scott Kehl) all of SLC area; 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

She retired after a 20 year career as the secretary of Redwood Elementary where she made lifelong friends. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, camping, water skiing, and cross-stitching, but her real love was her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W. 4100 So. The family will receive friends at a visitation Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home; and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
