Our dear Mother, Grandma, Oma, and Great Grandmother, passed away of natural age related causes on October 8, 2010, at the age of 93.
She was born Maria Deml on October 30, 1916 in Pernegg, Austria to Wenzel Deml and Eleanore Paier Deml. She was preceded in death by her husband, father, mother, 3 brothers, 1 sister and her son, Bernhard Deml, all from Austria. She emigrated to the United States in 1965. She was a hard worker and established her second home here.
Maria is survived by one daughter, Irene Schwemmer (Oswald) of Salt Lake City; 7 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; Edi Rappel, a nephew from Austria, and other family.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 8:45 until 9:45 a.m. prior to the service Saturday. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
