1941 ~ 2013
Marion Lorraine Hayes Jensen, “Murnie,” left us suddenly in her Magna home on Thursday, January 3rd, 2013.
She was born to Sam and Lorraine Hayes on August 20th, 1941 in Nephi Utah. At 21, she married Floyd Jensen from Goshen, Utah. Nature only gave her one child, Rick Jensen, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, but she had myriad others who claimed her and that she loved as her own. There was always room in her heart, and at her table, for one more. She always put others before herself. She loved playing with her great grandkids, going to yard sales, travelling with her family, and staying up too late reading on her new Kindle.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Tom, and her husband Floyd. She is survived by her son Rick, and her nephew and adopted son, Glade Barney. She is also survived by her brother Clyde (Linda), her sisters Shirley (Jim) and Carolyn, and many friends and loved ones who are too numerous to name.
