

Marilyn Taylor Bradford Cutler was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who touched the lives of all who knew her. She passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026, at the age of 85, surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Salt Lake City on May 20, 1940, to Virginia Taylor and Henry Bradford, and was a lifelong resident of Utah.
Marilyn graduated from East High School before going on to study at the University of Utah, where a shared love of ballroom and folk dancing brought her together with her eternal companion, Leo Kent Cutler. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on February 4, 1966 and enjoyed over 60 years of marriage.
A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Marilyn answered the call to serve and completed a mission in London, England, which was an experience she carried close to her heart for the rest of her life. She served in a number of callings, including many years of service at the Jordan River Temple.
She is survived by her loving husband Kent; their five children, Lisa Cutler (Greg Dunn), Kim Vaccaro (Shawn), Mindy Massa (Rob), Scott Cutler (Annette), and Kristine Newman; fifteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her sisters Annette Dunford and Barbara Brinton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia and Henry Bradford, her sister Gerri Russell, and her brother John Bradford.
Marilyn had a gift for loving the people around her. Her family, friends, and neighbors all knew they had a place in her heart. She especially loved and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and held them close to her heart. She adored animals, especially her dogs, who were faithful companions on her daily walks. She was deeply passionate about family history, devoted countless hours to preserving her heritage, and was a talented artist who expressed her creativity through drawing.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing that will be held at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W 4100 S, West Valley, UT on Friday, February 27th from 6:00–8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 28th with a viewing from 9:30-10:30 AM and then funeral service at 11:00 AM at the Pavant Ward, 5000 W Pavant Ave (3725 South), West Valley City, UT.
