

Son of Mario and Kathy Montoya. Mario graduated from Puorder High School in the home that held his heart, Ft. Collins Colorado.
With all his hard work and dedication Mario became a journeyman plumber and was recently working with The Union and Dynamite Systems. Mario was an amazing role model to his kids, the cheerleader, Arianna, and football quarterback, Ray. Mario could usually be found fishing or talking and watching the Denver Broncos. Mario had such an outgoing personality, he had many friends and family whom will miss him dearly.
Mario is preceded in death by grandpa Ray Montoya, grandma Andrea Montoya, grandpa Clark, tia Francis, uncle Pete (Nino), and cousins Jacob and Rico.
He is survived by his parents, children Marissa, Adriana, and Ray. His two sisters Trina Ray Zambrano and Lucy Shuntal Montoya, his grandma Lucy Armijo, and many nieces and nephews.
Mario will be remembered for his one of a kind personality, the love for his family, and his strong dedication for his hard work.
Wedo, your legacy will forever live on through your beautiful kids and football Sundays. Every blue and orange sky will remind us of you.

A Memorial Service will be held at Valley View Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, UT 84120, on October 10, 2026, at 11:00 am. Followed by a celebration of life with all the lives he touched 3951 S. 4400 W. West Valley City, 84120
