

He grew up traveling and moving from state to state within the western United States.
He was attending high school in Rupert, Idaho when he met the love of his life Ranaye while on a blind date in October of 1968. The pair dated for eight months before they were married on June 10, 1969.
Marvin obtained his GED and went on to graduate with honors and on the dean's list for automotive mechanics. He accumulated multiple awards including Doctor of Motors, Automotive Service Excellence, and more.
Marvin not only worked for, but he also owned his own car lots. He loved both working on and restoring classic automobiles. Marvin also participated in the Kearns Hometown Parade with his prized 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle (Malibu).
Marvin's life was plagued with illnesses that would have ended most, but he pushed through and beat odds with a smile on his face until being diagnosed with third stage kidney disease.
Marvin was preceded in death by both his parents, brothers David and Richard, Daughter Rachelle, and great-granddaughter Peyton.
Marvin is survived by his wife Ranaye, son Marvin Lee (Tamie), daughter Misty (Anthony), one brother Frank (Jessica), his six grandchildren: Brittany, Jacob, Joshua, Drake, Charle, and Kamren, his six great grandchildren: Ian, Hayden, Boston, Bowie, Tessa, and Waylon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews,cousins, and friends.
Marvin's wit and contagious laughter will be missed by all who knew him.
