Mary passed away peacefully on August 30, 2026, at the age or 85. She was born on November 12, 1940, in Buhl, Twinn Falls Idaho to Leroy Morrison Woodland and Myrtle Hawkley. Mary married Earl Dean Wilson on April 21, 1961, in the Salt Lake Temple. She and Earl had six children: Gary Dean, Connie Jean, MaryAnn, Raymond Earl, Johnny Lynn and Bryan Thomas. Her husband Earl Preceded her in death on August 22, 1977. Mary was a devoted and loving mother who raised her children with unconditional and unwavering faith and love for Nineteen years. In September 1996 she married Wayne Irving Hovey in the Jordan River Temple in South Jordan Utah. Wayne’s previous wife Antje Katharina Kretschmann had preceded him in death July 1996. Wayne and Antje had seven children: Michael Wayne, Chris Cay, Kenny Lynn, Kimberlee Ann, Antjelete Katharina, Theresa LeeAnn and Monica Michelle.
Mary was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Friend to many young and old. All loved her wonderful hugs, infectious smile. We love you Mary, and you will be greatly missed. We have no doubt you have been received with open arms by our Loving Saviour Jesus Christ and many family members on the other side of the Veil. Until we meet again. Well done, thou good and faithful servant.

A graveside dedication will be held at Wellington City Cemetery, 2 Cemetery Road, Wellington, UT 84542, on September 5, 2026, at 4:00 pm.
