If you are reading this, you know I am not talking on the telephone, and I am not at home. I left this mortal existence on December 9, 2025
I was born on my mother's birthday, May 8th 1940. My parents were Merrill and Irene Slater Johnson (who will be happy to see me).
I married Louis (Louie) LaVar Fisher, July 30th 1960, we have had many fun times together. We have two children. A devoted son Dick (Lisa) and a daughter Leigh Ann, (who I can't wait to see) she was killed in a tragic automobile accident at age 16. Dick and Lisa raised two almost perfect grandchildren, Richard (Jill) and Christa (Jesse) Evans. We are blessed with 6 great-grand children, Savannah, Marshall, Valerie, Garrett, Autumn and Louis. I have three older brothers (if you wonder why I am so headstrong). My brother I'm leaving behind is Raymond (Pam) and the two that proceeded me in death are Willard and Howard. My brothers all gave me very special nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at Valley View Memorial Park and Funeral Home located to 4335 W. 4100 S. West Valley City Utah, 84120.
In lieu of flowers, please enjoy my favorite pastime, go to lunch and remember me.I'm sure I will be missed by all who knew me. (Do you think?)
