Marylu McDonald Griffiths

MaryLu was born on December 15, 1927, in Logan, Utah to her parents, Ervin Deloye and Grace Maree McDonald. She married Cordell Griffiths in 1956, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was an avid temple worker who loved working in the Salt Lake and Jordan River temples. Her temple work was very important to her. She was a very loving mother and grandmother. She was always there for friends and family alike.

MaryLu is survived by her children, Sherlyn (Ron) Goodfellow of Taylorsville, UT; Rex Griffiths of West Valley City, UT; Charles (Callie) Griffiths of Tucson, AZ; Shawn (Shannon) Griffiths of Houston, TX; her brother, Deloye McDonald of Seattle, WA; seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and siblings, Clayton McDonald, Helene Kippen, Rex McDonald, Glen McDonald, and Wayne McDonald.

She will be buried on July 20, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at the Salt Lake City Cemetery with graveside service. Memorial gifts may be made to the Best Friends Animal Society.
