She was the only girl of five brothers. She had the most beautiful blue eyes. She fell in love with Viron Penney the first time she met him. They married on July 22, 1950 in Las Vegas, Nevada, but later solemnized in the LDS Salt Lake Temple on October 16, 1964.
She worked hard at raising her children and also made sure her grandchildren were taken care of. She had a talent for decorating and enjoyed cleaning her house. She loved to decorate for every holiday but mostly Christmas, so every year her and Dad would have a party for the family and invite Santa Claus. Every one of the grand kids still talk about those parties to this day.
She had good strong family values, her father influenced her to be honest and always tell the truth. Family was very important to her and she looked forward to the times we all got together. It was her that would make the phones calls to family members to see how they were.
She worked at Lynn Wilson and for 5 years and the Sorenson Research, now called Abbott Laboratories working with medical supplies. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her three children: Darlene (Jerry) Shipe; Vickie (Philip) Hart; and Brad (Daniella) Penney; two brothers: Kent (Sandra) Frampton; and Lloyd Frampton. 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren; then three dogs: Harley, Chilynn and Champ.
