Michael Anthony Collins, age 44, passed away March 22, 2011 at his home in West Jordan, Utah. Born June 5, 1966 in Pago Pago, American Samoa, son of Anthony Si’ilata Su’a Collins and Pinkie Easter Crichton.
Married Melinda Manning on November 11, 2005. Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Graduated from Samoana High School, Pago Pago, Am. Samoa in 1984. Tony’s passion in life was music and family. He was a diehard Oakland Raiders fan (NFL). Survived by his loving wife, Melinda; children, Destinee, Lily and Tamafaiga; mother, Pinkie; siblings, Freda Collins, Rosalie Soliai, Salome Collins (HI), William Collins and Raymond Coffin (CA), Otto Coffin (TN). Preceded in death by father, Anthony Si’ilata Su’a Collins.
Family Services and viewing will be held on April 3, 2011 at the Oquirrh 4th Ward, 5208 W. Cyclamen Way (6210 So.) West Jordan, Utah from 6 until 10 p.m. Funeral Services will be held April 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Oquirrh 4th Ward. Burial following at West Jordan City Cemetery.
