Michael David Terrell

1949~2014

Our Beloved Michael David Terrell died peacefully at home in West Valley City, June 26th 2014. Mike was born January 3rd 1949 in Salt lake City, UT to Pharris C and Joyce Boulter Terrell. He graduated from West High school in 1967. He married Karen Coates later divorced. Married Jackie Nielsen Squires on November 10th 1979.

Mike and Jackie shared 35 wonderful years together as best friends and true soul mates, making memories that will last a lifetime.

The majority of Mike’s working years were at Kennecott Smelter, Energy West Controls and Stantec Consulting. He enjoyed his co-workers and made many lasting friendships. Retiring in 2011 Mike and Jackie were able to enjoy the “snowbird” lifestyle. They spent their winters in Yuma, Arizona having more fun than they ever imagined and adding a new group of friends which, along with their family, they considered their most priceless treasures.

Mike had a big smile, a kind heart and a loving nature. He showered his girls with such unconditional love and affection, and for that they will always feel blessed. He will be missed so much, by so many and loved forever & always. God bless you and keep you until we’re together again.

Survived by his Wife; Jackie, daughters; Kristi (Anthony) Morrison, Mandy (Josh) Wilder, step daughter Kim (Cliff) Cohen, 10 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, brother; Dennis Terrell and half-sister; Patricia Edwards.

Preceded in death by his parents, son; Wade Michael Terrell, brother; James Linson Terrell, half-sister; Juanita Tittle, half-brother; Curtis Terrell.

Service will be held Wednesday July 2, at 12:30 pm at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W. 4100S. West Valley City. A viewing will be held prior to the services on Wednesday from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.

Per Mike’s wishes cremation will take place following the services.
