Mildred Marian Williams

February 16, 1929 - June 19, 2015

Mildred Marian Williams, 86, passed away June 19, 2015 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born February 16, 1929 in Milo, Idaho to Albert Peter Albretsen and Ludy Eulalia Peterson.

She attended Madison High School. Mildred married Griffith E. Williams on April 8, 1949 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was a member of the LDS Church. She chose to be resilient with grace and honor. Her home was a central hub for barbecues, festive occasions or a random gathering on the back porch with family and friends. Her kitchen was always ready to extend the offer of a meal. She cared for each of us at one time or another as she would one of her own. She left us with many fond memories and will be greatly missed!

Mildred is survived by her children Craig, Diane, and Scott Williams as well as six grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband and daughter Janice.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley View Memorial Park in the Lilac Garden, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to graveside service at Valley View Funeral Home.
