She was born April 28, 1933 in Bountiful, Utah to Thelma Roach and Morris “Sam” Shapiro. She attended West High School. Nancy and Don Pierce were married on May 26, 1951.
Nancy worked for many years at Whites Industrial Supply and Ferguson Plumbing. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and tennis.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Donna Pierce Gray (Dennis); daughter in law, Tammy Rice; sister, Lois Brainich (Joe); two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Don Pierce; daughter, Barbara Pierce; great grandson, Weston Gray.
Graveside services will be Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah. A viewing will be held one hour prior at the Funeral Home.
