Norma Dodge

Norma Dodge, our precious wife, mom and grandma, 86, went to her heavenly home, welcomed by the Lord Jesus. She was an extremely strong, determined loving Christian. She taught us to never give up and always persevere through every test and trial. The family chain has now been broken; the missing link is safe we know. We pray that we will all be joined together in that city built of gold.

Norma was born August 19, 1930 to Christian Cole Burke and Ida Pearl Keel in Greenville, Michigan. She married Lerwill J Olsen January 25, 1946; they were married for 24 years and raised 13 children. Later divorced. She met and married her loyal husband, David Dodge, they have been married 47 years.

Norma is survived by her husband, David, children, Sherry (Richard) Fast, Berdell (Kathy) Olsen, Vernon Olsen, Pete Olsen, Joyce (Doyle) Wilson, Joanne (Everett) Baletka, Jeff Olsen, Brenda Self, numerous grand and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Lerwill, children, Clair, Charlotte, Brent, Dennis, and Richard Olsen.

Viewing will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Valley View Memorial Park.
