Our beautiful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Patricia Ann Strong Dailey returned to her Heavenly Father on August 31, 2016. She was born March 17, 1941 in Mountain View, Wyoming to Lawrence Strong and June Shurtleff Strong. She married James Robert Dailey December 1, 1969 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Patty attended BYU, Dixie College and Salt Lake Community College where she received an Associate degree in Business.
Everyone loved Patty. She was an exceptional human being. She was kind, generous, and caring. Patty always had a smile for everyone. She loved to meet new people and always had a friendly word for waiters, store clerks or anyone with whom she came into contact. She was very inquisitive and was very interested in people and their well-being. Even when she was ill, if someone asked her how she was doing, she would respond with a smile and turn the question back on them. Patty was a very giving person. When you visited Patty, she would never let you leave without giving you something, usually a drink or something to eat. She was an avid reader and loved all kinds of books especially those that stimulated her questioning mind. She also loved gardening & grew beautiful flowers & vegetables before her diabetes and arthritis got the best of her. She loved her family very much and was devoted to being a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. Patty was an active member of the LDS church and served in many capacities throughout her life including Relief Society Counselor and Primary Teacher until she became too ill to continue. She had a strong testimony of the church and shared it frequently.
