Paul Norman Stapley, age 80, of West Valley City, Utah passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025. Paul was born on October 16th 1944, in Coalville Utah to Norman and Leola Stapley. He married Laura K. Hall on February 2, 1968 in Logan Utah.
Paul was a master craftsman who could fix or build just about anything. Paul and his wife Laura settled in West Valley City in 1970. Where they raised their three daughters Jeanie, Sherry, and Tamra. Paul enjoyed upgrading his house and working in his woodshop. He loved to birdwatch and built numerous birdhouses and feeders.
Paul was an avid Denver Broncos fan and rarely missed a game. He worked as a maintenance engineer and furniture repairman at Little America Hotel for over 30 years. Paul loved to read and one of his favorite pastimes was to sit on his porch and read Louis L'Amour novels.
Paul is survived by his daughters Jeanie Stapley, Sherry Stapley, and Tamra Stapley. As well as his brother Ronald Stapley.
Paul is preceded in Death by his parents Norman and Leola Stapley. His sister Phyllis Simmons (Gerald Simmons), sister Judy (LaRue) Walker (Robert Walker) and Nephew Michael Simmons.
A Graveside service will be held Wednesday May 21st at 12:00pm at Valley View Memorial Park. 4335 West 4100 South West Valley City, UT 84120.
