Randall Anthony Morningstar

Randall Anthony Morningstar “Randy” age, 28, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015 in Murray, Utah surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 17, 1986 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Jonathan Morningstar and Diana Jacobsen.

Randy attended Woods Cross High School. He was such a sweet soul who loved to have fun. From his music to his skateboard, from homemade Chinese food to fried ice cream, he enjoyed his life. He always had a smile to share and it was contagious. He is already missed dearly. He leaves behind a void in all of us that will never be filled. We will remember him every day.

Rest in peace, my son.

Randy is survived by his father, Jon and stepmother, Christine; brothers, Jonathan Morningstar and Trevor Beecher; stepsister, Bernadette Pollard and stepbrother, Jonathan Hewitt; girlfriend, Alex Constantino; grandparents, Paul and Mercedes Jacobsen, Pat and Billy Thompson, David Morningstar and Iris Hammond. He is preceded in death by his mother, Diana Gail Jacobsen.

A memorial service for Randy will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, where friends may visit with the family on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. and again on Tuesday one hour prior to the service. A celebration of Randy’s life will take place immediately following the memorial service at the home of Jason and Bernadette Pollard, 4668 West Odin Lane (8270 South) in West Jordan, or you may call Jon Morningstar for further information at (801) 597-2070.
