Richard Arlon Adams

Richard Arlon Adams Richard passed away from Lou Gehrig's disease on July 28, 2012. Richard was born on September 14, 1935 in Eminence, Mo to Clarence Ray Adams and Opal Mae Sweet. He married Janet Hodgson on August 3, 1968. Richard served in the Marine Corps from 1953-1956 earning a National Defence Service Medal and a RMM M-1 Rifle Badge. Richard is survived by wife Janet, brother Ray Adams, daughters Kristi (Jeff) Rich, Sherri (Travis) McPhie, and son Brian (Dana) Adams, 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents and 3 siblings. R.I.P Hon... I will forever love you. R.I.P Dad/Grandpa You will be missed. We love you will all of our hearts Graveside Services will be held Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South. The family will receive friends at a visitation one hour prior to the service at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South. Condolences may be sent to the family @ www.valleyviewfuneral.com

I cannot belive you are gone. It still does not seem real. I miss you more than you could of ever imagined. I am so glad you were able to live with us for the last 6 years. It meant more that you could of known. This birthday was the hardest ever. I always celebrate my birthday with yours. Hope you know how much I loved you. Forever your daughter Kristi
