Robert Dunton Bettridge passed away at the age of 78, March 27, 2017 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Bob was born on October 23, 1938 in Cedar City, Utah. He is the son of Elmer and Lillie. He grew up in Parowan, Utah. He married Vickie Lynn Carter in the Salt Lake Temple on December 7, 1961.
Bob served the Lord faithfully in many priesthood leadership callings including: singles ward bishopric, high council and Temple worker at the Jordan River temple.
He is survived by his wife,Vickie; children, Robert Lynn (Kelly) Bettridge, Cheryl (Ken) Roberts, Annette (Jeffery) Emmerichs and Paula Bettridge; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren; siblings, Ellarene (Bill) Warren, Ken (Georgia) Bettridge, Mary (Mike) Lisonbee, Ward (Ali) Bettridge and Larry (Judy) Carter.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Valley View Mortuary, 4391 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah. Funeral will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 at12:00 p.m. at the Riverton Stake Center, 1855 West 13400 South, Riverton, Utah with a viewing one hour prior to service. He will be interred at the Valley View Memorial Park.
