Surrounded by his loving family and friends in his final moments, Pop loved to joke and tease, he cherished every moment spent with his loved ones especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Barbara Thacker, son Clint, Kristine Thacker their kids Smash, Briana & Ace Thacker, daughter Jennifer Bindley her kids Cody, Cassie Bindley (Ember & Alec), and last but definitely not least Kelsie Bartnicki and we can’t forget cousin Stan Thacker his brother from another mother. He is also survived by his siblings Bonnie Price, Terri Richardson, Ted Thacker, & Gary Thacker.

He volunteered 2 tours in Vietnam and was so proud to serve his country. He was in the Operating Engineers local 3 for 50 years, his friends called him "Dozer Bob." We promise to strive every single day to bring a fraction of the happiness and joy that you've brought into our life. You're our anchor, our inspiration, and our guiding light. We love you more than words can express. In this moment, in every moment, you are and always will be our hero, role model and everything.

We will hold a celebration of life on September 13, 2024 at Camp Williams Cemetery in Bluffdale, starting at 1:00pm followed by a 21 gun military send off starting promptly at 2:00pm.
