Robin Lee Jensen

Robin Lee Jensen, age 77, of West Valley City, Utah, passed away on May 25, 2026. Robin was born on August 7, 1948, in Salt Lake City, Utah, and graduated from West High School. He passed away on his mother's birthday- what a beautiful reunion that must have been.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dean Jensen; mother, Barbara Jensen; brother, Shyreal Jensen; and brother-in-law, Harold (Red) McGrath.

Robin is survived by his loving spouse, Connie Jensen; daughter, Janna Roberts (Chad); son, Jason Jensen (April); stepchildren, Bryce Jardine (Lisa), Blaine Jardine (Bethany); sister, Jan McGrath; sister-in-law, Inge Jensen; grandchildren, Ashlee MacRae, Brenden Roberts, Lauren Bird, Megan Jardine, Caleb Roberts, Jacob Jensen and Alivia Jensen; and great-grandchildren, Riley MacRae and Jax Bird.

A celebration of Robin's life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at The Ridge Golf Club, 5055 Westridge Blvd. West Valley City, UT 84118. Time to be determined.

Robin dedicated 40 years of service to Union Pacific Railroad. After retiring at the age of 60, Robin and Connie moved from Oregon to Las Vegas, Nevada to live closer to their children and grandchildren in Arizona, California and Utah. He found great joy in traveling to visit his children and grandchildren and especially loved being a "Grandpa", faithfully attending their sporting events, band performances and other activities.

Robin was known as an easy going, kindhearted person, with a quick wit. He loved to tease and had the ability to make everyone laugh with his witty one-liners. He never spoke badly about anyone, a quality that left a lasting example for his children and grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
