Roger Henry Arnold

Roger Arnold our husband, brother, father and grandpa passed away peacefully at the IMC Hospital May 20, 2026. He was born August 4, 1949, in Ogden Utah. Adopted by loving parents Cora Hill and Albert Henry Arnold. Married Pollie Angerer later divorced. Married DeAnn H Cline, together 29 years.

Roger was employed by Harrington & Co just short of 58 years. He started out in the yard then moved forward to purchasing agent and chief cook for the BBQ's and contractor events. He also enjoyed 32 years as a volunteer range officer at Lee Kay Shooting range and spent many hours teaching Hunter Safety. He loved shooting sports, cooking, traveling, hunting, fishing, rock hounding, Lapidary/silver work, woodwork, his dogs and telling his many stories to all who would listen.

Roger is survived by wife DeAnn, daughter Sherrie Marie, stepdaughter Mindy (Jade) Burr, stepson Justin (Krista) Cline, brother Thomas (Lisa) Arnold, 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, son Robert Henry Arnold.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff on SICU at Intermountain Hospital for the compassion and care on the final days.

A viewing will be held at Valley View Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, UT 84120, on May 27, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
