Ronald V Cutler

January 8, 1936March 1, 2019

Our Beloved, Ronald V. Cutler, age 83 of West Valley City, passed away peacefully into God’s loving care surrounded by his family on March 1st, 2019. Born to Henry Vernon & Elizabeth Merrill Cutler in Brigham City, Utah on January 8th, 1936.

From a young age Ron worked alongside his father as a milk hauler; picking up milk from the farms and delivering it to the dairy. Ron later graduated from Box Elder High School with honors. As a young man he served in the National Guard and then went to work for Western Airlines (now Delta Airlines) in 1957. Ron retired from the airlines after 44 years of service.

Ronald married the love of his life, Karen Wulf Cutler, in 1957 and they were sealed in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple in 2017. They had four beautiful children and six grandchildren that all credit him for being the best father and grandfather ever.

He will be remembered as a gentle man, for his kindness to all and for his smile that had an ability to warm up a room. Ron had a special way of touching everyone’s heart. Ronald loved the game of golf, camping, and cruising (because his wife loved it).

The family would like to extend many thanks to his friends and neighbors for all their love and friendship, and especially for all their support.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, his sons, Ronald D. and Gary; and Great-grandson, Dylan. He is survived by his loving wife Karen, Children David (Yonna) and Linda (Wayne), 6 grandchildren Brandy, Christopher, Michael, Elizabeth, Ryan, and Shantae and 9 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Dan and Paul and sisters Betty and Karen.

I'm sure Ron and Ronnie are celebrating their reconnection as we speak. Ron was indeed a fine gentleman and good friend. Many were the days we assembled our car pool at his house and laughed our way to the airport and back. Pardon my cliche, but those were the days! It's comforting to know that an eternal family has now begun.

Ron was always helpful and cheerful to work with. I worked with him at both Western and Delta. He was a professional, but also so much fun to be with. It was a pleasure to know and work with Ron.

When I startedworking at the gates, Ron was very patient with us girls, showing how to lower stairs on the plane and swinging the door to the plane to open from outside. He was the best trainer that western had. He was always there for us.. thank you Ron!
