Roxy Whatcott

Roxy was born to William “Bill” and Lois Peters on October 2, 1954, in Price, Utah. Roxy married the love of her life, Richard “Lynco” Whatcott on May 21, 1977. They were blessed with two children, Jason and Tyler.

Roxy was always the life of the party, she loved to get together with friends, have parties, be with her family, and cheer for the Broncos. She loved buying little gifts for her loved ones and collecting items such as Coca-Cola products and angels.

Roxy is survived by her sons, Jason (Stephanie) Whatcott and Tyler (Torrie) Whatcott, along with her eight beloved grandchildren: Logan, Erick, Rocky, Abby, Austin, Madisyn, Emeri, and Taylor. She also leaves behind two cherished brothers, Alan (Sue) Peters, Rick (Jodie) Peters, and nieces and nephews.

Roxy was preceded in death by her parents, her sister-in-law Sue Peters, and her loving husband, Richard Lynn Whatcott.

A viewing and funeral services will be held at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 W. 4100 S., West Valley City, UT 84120. The viewing will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM. The graveside burial will start at noon.

After the funeral services, a celebration of Roxy's life will be held at Jason’s home beginning at 2:00 PM. Please contact the family for details.

Though she may no longer be with us in person, Roxy will live on in the hearts and memories of all who were blessed to know her.
