Kaye was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, and was a proud graduate of South High School. She remained friendly with high school friends throughout her life.
She built a life rooted in devotion to family, love of music, adventure, and an enduring appreciation for beauty—both in her surroundings and in the people she cherished.
Kaye married the love of her life, Clair Wuthrich, a United States Air Force veteran who was awaiting her arrival in heaven. Together, they shared a partnership defined by loyalty, laughter, and deep affection. They were blessed with two children: daughter Sydney (Butch Pryor) and son Kelly (Jada).
Family was the center of Kaye’s world. She delighted in her five grandchildren and six great-grandsons.
Kaye lived with style and enthusiasm. Music was a constant companion in her life—especially West Coast jazz, which filled her home and her heart. An elegant dancer and talented piano player, Kaye moved through life with rhythm and grace.
Her creative spirit extended into her love of home decorating, where she created warm, beautiful spaces that welcomed family and friends. She also loved traveling throughout the western United States as a proficient golfer, and she embraced outdoor adventure with joy—boating, snow skiing, and adventure travel were among her favorite pursuits.
Kaye will be remembered for her kindness, her refined taste, her adventurous spirit, and the quiet strength with which she met life’s challenges. She leaves behind a legacy of love, elegance, and treasured memories that will continue to echo through generations.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Legacy House of Taylorsville and Aspire Hospice for the exceptional care, comfort, and love they provided Kaye in her final days.
