I learned about Sam’s body shop while living in Magna.  Sam took care of me like he had known me his whole life. He followed through on his promises, and charged the best prices.  After I used his services once, I referred everybody I could to him. He was always honest and upfront with me. A man everyone could look up to.  Prayers to him and his family. 

I met Sam delivering auto parts to his shop.  We clicked immediately.  We especially enjoyed the fact our names were both Sam.  Any subject was fun to talk about:  motorcycles, camping, travel, people, etc.  

Just a great guy who I will miss very much!  My deepest sympathies to his family & friends.

My deepest condolences to Salisbury family.

Sending love, thoughts and prayers to all of Sams family!  I was very sad to hear of Sams passing, because I know just how very much he truly meant to his family. 
My brother Brandon and I grew up with Jake and Ryan like we were first cousins even though we were not really.  Sam and Jolene were like my aunt and uncle that were always so welcoming to my brother and I.   I remember talking to Sam a couple years ago at one of Ryan’s Christmas parties and telling him and Jolene how much I appreciated them both for being so good to me and my brother when we were younger.  For taking us camping, four wheeling, fishing all the fun stuff that my brother and I really never got the opportunity to do much at all as kids unless with them.  I remember him getting teary eyed nostalgically thinking about all the great times he must have shared with Jake and Ryan when they were kids.  He walked away probably not wanting to show his tears, Jolene said to me that he gets sentimental.  That right there made me realize how much he must truly love his family, and how passionate he was about being a great father and husband.  He raised two wonderful men and kept his family together through thick and thin, and that right there alone is a great life achievement.  My deepest condolences to the family!  Rest In Peace Sam!

We, met Sam at his business,  he painted  our 2001 dodge truck, had him come over to our house, buff a couple of our cars,  he did a beautiful job,  doing the body work and painted our 1985 Corvette we were restoring,  and he did a beautiful job,  Sam is practically our neighbor,  lives about 6 door's down from us, I believe the last time my husband Shawn seen him, him and son was walking together Sam was always  walking,  which alot of people do here

Sam we had so many great memories with you and we are going to miss you so badly!! Thank you for being a great example to me and Chuck. 

Sam and I became fast friends when I moved into the Herriman area 10years ago. We shared laughs and an occasional drink. He helped me with my automobile problems and projects. I genuinely liked him the first time we met and I am really missing his presence now...he was a great friend. May he Rest In Peace!

Sammy or Jake to us who knew him since he was a small kid. 
The memories of when he got his jeep and took us with the top down behind the capital in Salt Lake to climb that mountain.  I was sitting in the back and I could almost touch the ground behind me. It must have made an impact on me cause I still remember it MANY years later.
How he could do flips on the trampoline, and made it look easy. 
      How you shared your motorcycle with me to ride, there at your new kid home in Magna.  
Even though we haven't seen each other since we were young, your life has touched me with fond memories. 
May you rest in peace and may Jesus be close to your family during this season. 

 I wish to express my sympathy  to the family of Sam.
 Sam took the time after closing the shop for the day to drive over to my place, just this past week on November 23rd, to checkout my car I have been working on for the past 4 years to give his blessing to finally bring it to the shop for paint. 
 Monday morning was such a shock to hear from Susie that Sam had passed away.
 Sam was such a good, down to earth person.
 I had several past repairs done over the last 15 years on vehicles that Sam and his crew took care of. He always treated you as if you were a friend instead of a customer.
 On occasion I would stop by the shop during the time I was working on the car for his advice on things that I had questions about. He always took the time to answer the questions in a genuine manner regardless of what he had going.
  Sam was the embodiment  of fair, honest, trusted...just a good person to deal with.
 I only hope that the business continues on with the same values Sam had. I would think he would like that to keep his legacy moving forward...godspeed Sam...
