Shane was born to Stuart Fjeldsted and Jackie Powell on July 22nd, 1972. Shane was survived by his daughters Natasha Fjeldsted and Melissa (Cassidy) Fjeldsted as well as siblings Chris (Carissa) Fjeldsted, Dale (Stephanie) Fjeldsted, Joey (Lynn) Moser, and JD (Teresa) Fjeldsted. He was preceded in death by his mother Jackie Powell, uncle Dick Powell, Grandfathers Rich Powell and Jay Fjeldsted, and his lifelong friend Dominic Archibeque. Shane worked for Utility Trailer for 10 years and was well known in the trucking industry. He enjoyed the company and loved the people he worked with. Shane adored his daughters and lived for them. He was so proud of them and made it a point to always bring positive light to them in conversation.
Shane loved kids and was ecstatic at the news of his first grandchild. He had an especially soft spot for his nieces and nephews and was always known as “The Fun Uncle.” Being a kid himself, he always looked forward to taking his 68’ mustang out for a drive, camping, or riding his Harley’s with his two buddies Tony Perea and Kevin Belt. Shane was known for always being the life of the party, his heart of gold, and being willing to help anyone in need. He will be sorely missed by all of his friends and family.
In lieu of a funeral, a Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday February 27th, 2019 at the Utah Trucking Association (4183 West 2100 South West Valley City, UT) from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM.
