Shawna Marie Hamby 58 years old passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer on February 16, 2019.

She had a wonderful zest for life. She was preceded in death by her sister Kelly Vake. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Hamby (John Hutchins), her father David Hamby (Vicky); brother Michael Hamby (Deb); sisters Kathleen Nye (Jeffrey), and Heather Hamby; niece Shantell Vake and grand-niece Leilani.

Special thanks to Rocky Mountain Care, Columbus Center and the many workers at her group home run by TKJ services.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, UT., from 12-2pm. A graveside service will follow.
